Live Election Debates Scheduled For October

Vermont Edition Hosts Jane Lindholm and Bob Kinzel will moderate five live election debates in October.

VPR will broadcast live candidate debates this campaign season, moderated by Jane Lindholm and Bob Kinzel. The first three debates will air within Vermont Edition:

Attorney General: Tuesday, October 7, 12-1 p.m. in Colchester. Jane Lindholm moderates.
Bill Sorrell (D)
Shane McCormack (R)

Secretary of State: Friday, October 10, 12-1 p.m. in Montpelier. Bob Kinzel moderates. 
Jim Condos (D/R)
Ben Eastwood (P) 

U.S. House: Tuesday, October 14, 12-1 p.m. in Colchester. Jane Lindholm moderates.
Peter Welch (D)
Mark Donka (R)
Mathew Andrews (LU)

The final VPR debate of the season is an evening debate between the candidates for Lieutenant Governor on Tuesday, October 28, 7-8:30 p.m. in Colchester. Bob Kinzel and Jane Lindholm will moderate a debate between Phil Scott (R), Dean Corren (P/D), and Marina Brown (LU).

For the Lieutenant Governor debate, we're encouraging you to submit questions of the candidates in advance. Questions can be recorded by calling (802) 552-3425, or using the voice memo feature on a smart phone and sending the file to vermontedition@vpr.net
